Botanical name: Taraxacum officinale
Our organic dandelion root brews into a rich, earthy, slightly bitter tea with deep roasted notes when simmered. Naturally caffeine-free, this root has a long history of traditional use for digestive health, liver support, kidney support, and gentle detoxification, and is most often prepared as a slow-simmered decoction.
Sourced from China and cut & sifted for easier brewing, dandelion root is a grounding staple in traditional herbal preparations.

Nutritionally, dandelion root naturally contains a range of vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, C, and B-complex, as well as iron, magnesium, calcium, potassium, and other trace elements, contributing to its long-standing reputation as a deeply nourishing and restorative root.
