About Chicory Root
Chicory root has been used in traditional herbal systems for generations, particularly in preparations associated with digestive comfort and liver–gallbladder support. Traditionally, it has been used to encourage bile release, support digestion, and gently ease sluggish elimination.
Chicory is also a natural source of beta-carotene and has long been valued for its grounding, nourishing qualities. Because of its roasted flavour profile, it is commonly used as a coffee substitute or blended with other roots in digestive or cleansing-style formulas. It is often used daily over time rather than for acute situations.
How to Brew
